We have fielded netball teams in every Sutherland Shire Netball Association competition since 1982.
With teams ranging from NetSetGo Netball to A1 Seniors you’ll find a team that suits your skills and enjoyment level.
Sharks Netball Club was represented by over a 75% of our junior teams in the 2020 final series.
Cronulla Sharks Netball Club has designed our COVID documents in line with the NSW Governments framework for community sport in the NSW, which was designed to assist Associations and clubs in the development of their Return to Play in a COVID-Safe Environment Plans.It is a requirement of the NSW Government that a “Return to Play in a COVID – Safe Environment Plan” be prepared by each individual sporting organisation including peak bodies, associations and individual clubs.We have a dedicated COVID-19 Safety Office Fiona C and all Executive committee members have completed the relevant training courses.Our Return To Play Guidelines have been distributed via Club Coaches and Managers.In 2022 we will continue to review and regularly ensure our Club continues to provide the highest level safety measure to all our volunteers and supporters.
Cronulla Sharks Netball Club Inc. is affiliated with Sutherland Shire Netball Association SSNA. We aim to promote the sport of netball and to achieve this we cater for all levels and ages of netball. Our club was born in 1982 as Cronulla Seagulls Netball Club with 2 members. They had hoped to provide a safe, friendly home for their expected 1 senior and 1 junior teams. By the end of registration day that year they had attracted enough players to form 7 teams.Based at Burraneer Bay School our club grew steadily to 25 teams, attracting girls and their mums in the area from Laguna St to Cronulla South Public Schools.
